With over 10 years of experience as a yoga teacher, I continue to keep my curiosity alive and strive to maintain a "beginners mind". This helps to convey in a simple, easy to understand manner. Whether you are new to yoga, or a seasoned yogi; this might be the place to call Home.
   
Incorporating my skills as a certified Reflexologist, you'll learn additional techniques to relieve stress; reduce body aches and pains; improve health and over all well-being.  Each class offers an opportunity to challenge the ego, releasing any chaos (limiting beliefs) keeping us from making necessary changes. As we practice letting go of our mind madness, societal stressors, expectations and demands, a sense of harmony and peace begins to grow.
   
Taking our yoga practice from a rote activity to a spiritual endeavor inspires our faith, and the capability to experience our divine connection ~ our bliss ~ our Home. Yoga Session 2024

Tuesday
Move & Groove
*4:15-4:35 p.m.

Get Your Groove On as we Take 20!
This twenty minute class will be a mixture of
cardio exercises & free spirit movements.
We will shake, rattle and roll to great music
as we get the blood pumping from our
ticker to our toes! No experience needed.
Classes will be in person only.
*Free for all GC Yoga members

Tuesday
Gentle Flow Yoga
4:45-5:45 p.m.

Take time for self-care and feed your soul.
This is a gentle yoga class and suited for
anyone looking for a slower paced practice,
aimed at reducing stress and gaining
strength and flexibility of the mind, body
and spirit. Reap the health benefits of a
self-nurturing yoga practice.
No experience needed.

Wednesday
Chair Yoga
3:45-4:30 p.m.

  This chair yoga class includes stretching, strengthening and balancing exercises, breathwork, and relaxation. Chairs will be used for our practice and mats will be optional for relaxation. 
Classes are Free for All Veterans and one guest,
First Responders, and
 live-streamed in connection with the Veterans Yoga Project and the
Veteran Vitality Project.

Wednesday
Gentle Flow Yoga
5:15-6:15 p.m.

Take time for self-care and feed your soul.
This is a gentle yoga class and suited for
anyone looking for a slower paced practice, aimed at reducing stress and gaining
strength and flexibility of the mind, body
and spirit. Reap the health benefits of a
self-nurturing yoga practice.
No experience needed.

Classes held in person and virtual.

Classes will be offered on-line and
in person at St. Matthews Episcopal Church downtown Oakland.
A Google Meet Code
will be provided to GC Yoga members and
the Zoom platform will be used for the
Veteran Chair Yoga class.
